Huldra

I’ve always loved norse mythology and folklore, so this is not my first Huldra-drawing. For those unfamiliar with Norwegian folklore; we have forest creatures named hulder and hulderkall (depending on whether they are female or male), but when talking about a single individual female, we most often refer to them as huldra.

The pose was inspired by a stock photo by @jookpubstock on Instagram. I can’t find the link to the exact photo anymore, but I recommend any and all illustrators and artists out there to visit her page/profile, because she has a ton of fantastic stock photos for reference.

I think I prefer the black and white version more…
